Pain has purpose and healing needs effort.

If you could put a circle around people who got heart broken at least once in their life time, we probably need to include everyone.

If getting hurt is life compulsion only healing is on our hands. It is upto us who decide to suffer the pain over and over, or heal and learn from it. The choice our to chose to be broken or awaken.

But, no all the sufferings are the same, something would last forever if we let succumb by pain. At times we could think there is nothing in our control, but we are choosing always. The past we can’t change but we should put deliberate efforts to change our present and future by healing ourself.

To begin the healing we need to accept the past. This requires some courage and patience. Often people used avoid to think about the hurtful experiences from the past by distracting what feels good in the present, even with short term pleasures. That is instant gratification.

What happens we didn’t acknowledge the past and accept it? The healing never begins. This is the case with people who could be exceptional in many areas but suck in their relationship. The deep rooted unhealed emotions and trauma are blocking them to get into a relationship. They afraid for being vulnerable, by thing that it could bring the same experience.

There is a quote about healing, “If you never heal from what hurt you, you’ll bleed on people who didn’t cut you.” This is backfiring on people who didn’t contribute to bad experience. For some they will hurt themselves for their past. Either way this is not good for anyone.

Pain has purpose, and it’s double edge sword. We could use the pain to build ourself and learn better to adapt and change. Or, it could ruin our present by keeping ourself stuck in the past.

The choice is ours to make!

Thus, Pain has purpose and healing needs effort.

To end with a saying, “Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional”.
